Mother's Car Show Enters 14th Year

The Mothers Car Show Series, the longest running television program highlighting collector cars,
enters its 14th year this season. The series originally hosted by Ted Jones and Don Garlits, has
showcased cars from Florida to California delighting car lovers worldwide. Those old original
programs that started being cablecast on ESPN in 1997 are still replayed on ESPN Classic today.
The series moved from ESPN to ESPN 2 in 1999 and finally moved to Fox Sports Net in 2009. “Fox
was delighted to get the series as it has a history of excellent ratings” says Executive Producer Ted
Jones, who now has turned over the hosting duties to Doc Riley “and its doing even better on FSN”
Jones continued, “because FSN has locked in a guaranteed air time at 11:00 am every Sunday
morning and FSN airs it at that time nationwide.”
